Women’s Ministry Connections

What’s happening in Women’s Ministry and Coffee Break? Send me some details of your ministry, and I’ll post it here!  Are you doing something new?  Having a great study?  Reaching others?  Serving your community? Do you have a website?  Want to share your email?

Here are just a few:

Acton CRC – Pastor Ray takes his turn, once a month to tell the story in Story Hour.  He loves connecting with the children, and their moms!

Brighton Fellowship – 80 women gather each week

Burlington Faith – 12 women gather  Wednesday mornings for the study of The Gospel of Mark  (with Story Hour and nursery).  A Tuesday evening group of 15 are studying same material.  http://www.faithcrc.ca/OurMinistries/CoffeeBreak/tabid/102/Default.aspx

Chatham Grace – Coffee Break, Little Lambs, Story Hour and Nursery are using every room for ministry.  Exciting times!

Flamborough Calvary CRC – 70 women and 30 children meeting Wednesday mornings.  We begin in prayer and break into 3 groups: a Video/Bible Study Series, a Women of the Bible group, and our TimeOut group for moms.
We also have nursery for babies to age 3 and Story Hour for children 3-5.
We try to get together once a month for a social evening as well.

Kanata CRC:  30 women and 30+ children in nursery Little Lambs and Story Hour.   Women are inviting their friends and neighbours some of who do not attend a church!

Kingston Westside – once a month, Coffee Break ‘takes a break’ and women are encouraged to connect with a neighbour.

Oakville Clearview has a Women’s Ministry Blog:

Sarnia Coffee Break – 3 churches are coming together and are filling the church!

St. Catharines Covenant – 90 – 100 women gather weekly for Bible Study

St. Catharines Jubilee – Girls Night Out – planning events for women of the church and neighbourhood

Kanata Community CRC – We have 30 women and 30+ children with more on the way in nursery Little Lambs and Story Hour. We split into 3 small groups and once a month have a social time where we stay together for the first half hour to get to know other women in other groups too. Many ladies from different churches and also ladies are inviting their friends and neighbours some of who do not attend a church!
